As independent financial advisors we are not owned, affiliated with or tied to any financial services product provider which ensures we are able to provide you with fully independent and unbiased financial advice. Pegasus Portfolio Planning LLP are directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Number 446163).

Many of our clients have been with Pegasus Portfolio Planning for over 20 years and have recommended their friends, family and collegues to us. We currently have 6 qualified Advisers.

We also enjoy close working relationships with businesses that offer services which are of benefit to our clients, including Solicitors and Estate Agents in Cumbria and Lancashire.

Nigel has over 20 years experience as a Financial Advisor and takes pride in servicing new and existing clients and offering his recommendations of many areas of personal and corporate financial planning, mortgages, investments, retirement planning and life assurance. Nigel is one of the few Equity Release specialists in the area.

Hayley Owen
Hayley’s main expertise is in the compliance area, ensuring that Pegasus Portfolio Planning LLP complies with all regulatory issues laid down by our regulator, The Financial Services Authority. Hayley is our primary business and public relations developer.

Robert Johnsey BSc

Robert is a happily married Grandfather in his early sixties with a wealth of business and financial services experience – he plans to work until 70.

He runs around £15,000,000 of investments under management for many satisfied clients but is equally at home setting up a £50 a month regular ISA savings plan – planting the acorns is just as important as looking after the oak trees.

Robert loves his work as he meets so many interesting people and gets genuine pleasure from making a difference and adding value – this could be anything from helping to sort out debt problems right up to investing large lump sums as part of retirement planning – he loves to arrange affairs!

Robert always puts the client’s interest first and receives many referrals from happy clients.

In Financial Services since 1994 and independent (self-employed) since 1999.

Robert offers a comprehensive, impartial and FREE financial review INITIAL meeting with you to collect details of your circumstances, objectives and views and discuss options which are available and suitable to you.

Russell Pickering has been in Financial Services since 1984 and has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1996.

Having worked for one of the UK’s largest national Accountants, Russell decided to go his own way and worked as a Financial Adviser for some years until November 2007 when he set up RWP Consulting.

RWP Consulting offers advice to individuals and corporate bodies on most aspects of financial planning and Russell often finds himself involved in unusual projects having recently successfully concluded a claim against one of the major national IFAs where the award to the client was over £700,000.

Outside Financial Services Russell is a very keen Land Rover enthusiast, so much so he mentors two local independent Land Rover businesses and he spends most of his spare time either under the bonnet of, or driving/playing, with Land Rovers.

Jon Lowson
Lancashire
Jon has worked in the Financial Advice industry, for around 15 years, and is a Chartered Financial Planner and an Investment Manager. He has advanced qualifications in Pensions, Investments and Taxation & Trusts and provides consultancy services to the firm’s Financial Advisers, in complex planning cases. Jon’s market research and analysis also informs Pegasus’ Model Portfolio Investment Service.

Lynne O’Toole
Administration Manager
Having relocated to Cumbria from Southampton, Lynne joined Pegasus in 2003 and came to us with a wealth of over 30 years secretarial/administration experience, having previously worked within the insurance and NHS sectors.  Following the expansion of Pegasus in 2006, Lynne became our Administration Manager, dealing with the day to day office processes, overseeing the implementation of new office procedures and staff recruitment.
